At ATJ, we provide Radiation check, Terminal Receiving Inspection (TRI) services, and Vehicle compliance services.
RADIATION CHECK
ATJ provides radiation check for all vehicles entering the yard.
All vehicles exported from Japan are inspected for any radiation or radioactive contamination.
A reading on the level of contamination will be provided to the customer with a remark on whether it is below or above the allowable non hazardous standard level.
ATJ can provide surface inspection for vehicles including containers and vessels at all Japan ports.
TERMINAL RECEIVING INSPECTION (TRI）
We have designed and adopted a grading system to help buyers in assessing a vehicle’s overall condition. This grading scale should be preferably used in conjunction with the written description and photos in the website for each vehicle.

- 5 Brand new or almost new
- 4.5 Very good condition
- 4.0 Above average to Good condition
- 3.5 Average – Good condition
- 3.0 Below average condition
- 2.5 Poor condition
- 2.0 Very poor condition
- 1.0 Suspension, engine, transmission or exhaust modified or in severely bad condition beyond normal vehicle specifications
- 0 Vehicle has accident history
- Interior Grading System
- A Very good condition
- B Good Condition
- C Average Condition
- D Below Average condition
VEHICLE COMPLIANCE SERVICES
Autoterminal Japan, being a fully registered “ninsho toroku” testing station, is equipped with the necessary tools to guarantee that a vehicle is complied in-house prior to shipping and can therefore freely enter any country of destination. ATJ is fully committed to further improve as a pre-inspection center and to enhance its relationships with any destination country and ensure that we comply vehicles as per those countries’ regulatory requirements.
